Hey, I am Egor Kuryanovich 👋

I love telling people that my journey began in 2001 when I built my very first website. But honestly, the excitement started even earlier when I got my first PC back in 1992! It was such a thrilling moment for me. I remember diving into programming around 7th grade, and I still cherish the diploma I earned from winning a programming competition that year. Those were some great times!

The journey

I’ve always had a passion for building things, and it all started back in school! During my time at university, I dove into creating browser games, with ValorLand and FAR7 being my proudest projects. Although I'm now pursuing game development as a hobby in my free time, my love for creating games is still going strong. Just having fun with it!

I created several web services for a wide audience, such as Quibie and Ideary. Quibie began as a simple link shortener and later evolved into a fully-fledged hybrid search engine for sites within local peering. At its peak, I managed a dedicated server that received tens of thousands of hits daily, all the way back in the 2010s!

From there, I dove into creating B2B services and really hit the mark! It all started with Staronka, a user-friendly website builder that launched in 2015. Then came Koshyk, an ecommerce store builder in 2017. Fast forward to 2022, and I transformed both of these into kvitly, which has been an exciting journey!

Going big

In 2022, I made the big decision to leave my home country. I’ve worked hard to create things for the global market, with Ideary and FAR7 even having English versions that did quite well! Now, living in the EU feels like a whole new world of possibilities, and I’m excited about the future. In early 2025, I launched kvitly in the US, and I have some wonderful plans for it, along with several other projects that I'm eager to bring to life.
